How old home of live pet birds?

It depends on the type of bird. The record that I know is 104 years for both macaws and Amazons. The smaller birds usually do not last that long, but even some cockatiels live 30 years. http://www.parrotsr4ever.org/Long_Lives.aspx see a list of various types. I think the times are a little optimistic (especially for Senegal), but a good job of showing the maximum age you can expect (for example, lifespan are for large macaws, amazons, and cockatoos. Younger children do not live as long (maybe only 50 years). Y but hopefully 70 years with a good diet and if nothing goes wrong, many do not have a good diet or die quite young of sickness or accident. I knew that Amazon, who died at 30 in a fire, and Senegal had only four years when a dog killed it.)
